MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Thursday that it has not monitored any tropical cyclone or low pressure area (LPA) inside or outside the country’s area of responsibility until the weekend.

Weather specialist Benison Estareja said the northeasterly windflow – wind coming from the northeast that carries mild temperature – is affecting extreme Northern Luzon.
