Over 20 abandoned vehicles were discovered in various parking facilities at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), Unang Balita reported on Friday.
According to the New NAIA Infrastructure Corporation (NNIC), some of the vehicles have been at the airport since 2014.
The NNIC is giving owners one last chance to claim their vehicles by presenting any proof of ownership.
Vehicles that will not be claimed will be brought to an impounding area.
NNIC, the San Miguel-led private operator of NAIA, has recently implemented an increase in the overnight parking fee at the country’s main airport. It said the move was not meant to rake in more profit but to enhance parking access for passengers. —KBK, GMA Integrated News
