Philippine Airlines (PAL) said Wednesday it will operate out of The New Terminal One at New York F. Kennedy International Airport by 2026, enhancing the travel experience for passengers flying between Manila and New York City.
PAL, currently operating at the existing Terminal 1 at JFK Airport, will transition its operations to the New Terminal One in time for the terminal’s opening in 2026.
As the first Southeast Asian airline to commit to operations at The New Terminal One, PAL is solidifying its presence on the US East Coast.
The new terminal will serve as PAL’s primary gateway to the region, offering passengers a more modern, efficient and comfortable travel experience.
PAL is the only airline directly linking the Philippines to the US East Coast, offering thrice-weekly flights between JFK Airport and Manila utilizing the Airbus A350-900 aircraft.
“This partnership with the JFK New Terminal One highlights an important innovation for Philippine Airlines. This alliance allows us to enhance our service and elevate the travel experience for our passengers traveling between Manila and New York, as well as nearby cities in New Jersey and Connecticut, and throughout the U.S. East Coast and Midwest,” PAL president and chief operating officer Capt. Stanley Ng said.

The New Terminal One, scheduled to open in phases from 2026, will be the largest terminal at JFK Airport when complete, offering 2.6 million square feet of space over a footprint that will include the existing Terminal 1 and the former Terminals 2 and 3.
