The Philippine Men’s National Football Team struck true, 3-0, to defeat Tajikistan and claim the bronze medal in the 50th King’s Cup on Monday in Songkhla, Thailand.
The Filipinos got goals from Gerrit Holtmann (47′), Jefferson Tabinas (58′), and and Zico Bailey (62′) to cruise to the win in the battle for third.
Host Thailand won the tournament following a 2-1 victory over Syria in the final.
Thailand also defeated the Philippines, 3-1, a few days ago to open the tournament.
