The partnership will enable PLDT Global’s wholesale partners to access competitive rates and high-quality connections, while CIMA Telecom will leverage on PLDT’s extensive network to strengthen its routes in the Philippines and Asia, further optimizing traffic flow between the regions.
“Our alliance with CIMA Telecom further strengthens PLDT Global’s position as a key player in connecting Asia to the rest of the world,” said PLDT Global president and chief executive Albert Villa-Real.
“By providing enhanced services to our partners and customers, we aim to support the growing demand for connectivity solutions and address the evolving needs of global communications,” he said.
Villa-real said PLDT Global would continue to meet the increasing demand for connectivity solutions, addressing the needs of businesses and consumers alike by delivering reliable and optimized services across continents.
“This partnership is also aligned with our commitment to offer the best-in-class solutions to our partners, driving value through expanded network reach and competitive pricing,” Villa-Real said.
PLDT Global said that in a world where global connectivity was becoming increasingly essential, the partnership serves as a critical link in bridging the gap between continents and improving the quality of communication services worldwide.
CIMA Telecom chief commercial officer Juan Pablo Angel said the partnership is a significant step to enable both companies to reach new markets and provide high quality services to customers in Latin America and Africa.
“We are excited to work with PLDT Global to offer enhanced solutions to meet the growing demands of businesses in these regions and offer seamless international connectivity that facilitates the expansion of industries in Asia, Latin America, and Africa,” Angel said.
