MANILA, Philippines — Sweet and savory Chicken Teriyaki is so good that you would love it not just in combination with freshly cooked rice but also in the form of a sandwich that you can eat for breakfast or merienda.
Home Foodie and the San Miguel Pure Foods Culinary Center shared how to make a Chicken Teriyaki Sandwich with flair.
Chicken Teriyaki Sandwich
Ingredients:
2 tbsps. olive oil
1 pack (500 grams) Magnolia Chicken Timplados Teriyaki, drained
1/4 cup Magnolia Real Mayonnaise
5 pcs. Ciabatta bread, split in half
5 pcs. (25 grams) lettuce leaves
1 pc. (120 grams) salad tomato, cut into 10 thin slices
1/2 pack (160 grams) Magnolia Milky White Cheddar, cut into 15 slices
Procedure:
1. Heat olive oil and sauté chicken until cooked through. Cool a bit and then mix with mayonnaise. Set aside.
2. On the bottom half of Ciabatta bread, arrange layers of lettuce, tomato slices, cheese and chicken. Cover with the remaining bread to make sandwiches.
*Makes 5 servings. Yield: 5 sandwiches (1-1/4 cups mixture)/1 sandwich per serving
