A GROUP of parents whose children’s deaths were linked to the controversial anti-dengue vaccine Dengvaxia on Tuesday begged the Department of Health (DoH) to restore the medical support it used to provide to over 50 survivors.
Sumachen Dominguez, president of the Samahan ng mga Magulang ang mga Anak ay Biktima ng Dengvaxia (Smabd), in an exclusive interview with The Manila Times lamented that the DoH has abandoned its obligation to the schoolchildren who survived after they were inoculated with the vaccine that was banned by then president Rodrigo Duterte.
