As she recently celebrated her 31st birthday, actress Sarah Lahbati shared her thoughts on life, realizing that she doesn’t need the care of a loved one to live contentedly.
In a social media post, she wrote about the joy living a pure and simple life.
“How beautiful it is to feel contentment from such a pure, simple, and real space. As I turn 31, I’m overwhelmed by a sweetness that flows from within. I’ve come to realize that I don’t need anyone but myself, and that no one can save me but me,” her socmed post read.
At this point in her life, Sarah views independence not as an obstacle to happiness, but as a source of freedom.
“This independence isn’t a burden; it’s a liberation. Yet, amidst this self-reliance, I recognize my deep love for love itself—the joy of giving it and the warmth of receiving it.”
After going through emotional challenges following her separation from Richard Gutierrez, Sarah expressed her gratitude for the friends who supported her during both her high and low moments.
“My heart fills with gratitude for the few real friends I’ve made, friends who have stood by me through my lowest lows and my most beautiful highs. You are treasures in my life, and your presence is a gift I cherish.”
She also shared her joy in being a mother to her two children.
“Being the mom of Zion and Kai fills my days with purpose and joy. We’ve carved out our paradise in the embrace of the ocean, a sanctuary we always return to. It’s in those waves that we find solace, no matter if life is soaring or crashing around us. The ocean is our constant, a reminder that in the ebb and flow of life, we can always find our way back to peace.”
Finding inner peace and self-worth are the two priceless things she holds dear at this stage in her life.
“I feel thankful—and proud—that I’ve shed the need to please anyone but myself. This inner peace, this sense of self-worth, is more valuable than anything the world has to offer. My life, my family, my friends—they are my world, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.”
Lastly, Sarah thanked her followers for their birthday wishes.
“Thank you for the wonderful and sweet birthday greetings. They truly don’t go unnoticed. Here’s to embracing the realness of life, to love, and to all the beautiful moments yet to come. With all my heart, merci.”
