Senator Risa Hontiveros said that the senate panel was firm on the decision that the next hearing on POGOs will be its last one.
“As of now desidido na kami na huli na ang sunod na pagdinig, dahil mabubuo na namin kasama ung Al Jazeera report kasama na rin pagaresto kay Lyu Dong,” said Hontiveros.
Hontiveros added that they are hoping that Lyu Dong will be able to appear in the next hearing and clarify reported connections to Alice Guo.
Lyu Dong is the alleged big boss of the Lucky South 99 POGO hub in Porac, Pampanga. He was nabbed at a subdivision in Laguna on Thursday night.
According to the Philippine Anti-Organized Crime Commission, Lyu Dong was named one of the first POGO bosses in the country.
