Buses of Calamba-based transport firm DLTB will ply the route on weekdays and Saturdays, with a regular fare of P165.
Departure points have been established at the Lakandula Extension corner of Jacinto street in UP Diliman (UPD) and Velasco Avenue near the UP Los Baños main gate.
From UPLB to UPD, buses will depart at 5 a.m., 1 p.m. and 6 p.m.
Buses from UPD will depart at 5 a.m., 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.
The bus route, pilot-tested in August, will traverse the Metro Manila Skyway and Quezon Avenue in Quezon City.
Schedules and bus units per time slot were determined by a demand survey of 2,888 online respondents.
The UPLB-UPD-DLTB partnership is part of the UPLB Green Mobility Initiative that promotes public transport to lessen greenhouse gas emissions and minimize traffic congestion, according to UPLB vice chancellor Roberto Cereno.
