MANILA, Philippines — Over 2.3 million people, or over 630k families, have been affected by Typhoons “Nika,” “Ofel,” and “Pepito,” the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) said on Monday.
There were 634,476 families or 2,341,490 individuals from 4,603 villages in eight regions impacted by the three typhoons as of 6 a.m. on November 18, the DSWD’s Disaster Response Operations Monitoring and Information Center (Dromic) said.
