CABANATUAN CITY, Philippines — Two men were arrested after they were caught stealing 1,097 ducks worth P329,100 from a poultry farm in Jaen, Nueva Ecija on Wednesday.
The owner of the poultry farm located in Barangay San Jose told police she saw the suspects herding the ducks toward another farm, according to Col. Ferdinand Germino, Nueva Ecija police director.
The complainant sought the help of the police, who arrested the suspects.
The complainant identified the ducks as hers based on the markings in the legs of the fowls.
