As of Oct. 31, Comelec Chairman George Garcia said the poll body had registered 68,618,667 voters.

“But the figure is still subject to the removal of double and multiple registrants,” Garcia said.

The National Capital Region listed 7,562,858 voters.

The Comelec said the number of voters for next year’s elections is higher compared to the 65,745,526 and 67,839,861 registered, respectively, during the 2022 and 2023 elections.
