MANILA, Philippines — Several flights were affected in the provinces of Northern Luzon as Typhoon “Marce” brought moderate to heavy rain and gusty winds, the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) reported Thursday.

CAAP said that, as of 5 a.m., the typhoon was in effect over Cagayan Valley, which led to the cancellation of six flights at Tuguegarao Airport and affected 968 passengers.
