MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Tuesday expressed the Philippines’ desire to further strengthen its ties with the United States (US) in a “very good, friendly, and productive” call with US President-elect Donald Trump.
Speaking to reporters in Catanduanes, the President said he was able to schedule a phone call with Trump to congratulate him on his victory in the recent US presidential elections.
