Malacañang on Saturday released a series of Presidential Proclamations declaring special non-working holidays in specific cities and municipalities nationwide for the remaining two months of 2024.
The list of special non-working days provided under various proclamations, issued by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin by authority of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., are as follows:
- November 12, 2024 – Special (Non-Working) Day in the City of Valenzuela under Proclamation No. 711
- November 15, 2024 — Special (Non-working) Day in the Province of Oriental Mindoro under Proclamation No. 712
- November 22, 2024 – a Special (Non-working) Day in the City of Palayan, Province of Nueva Ecija under Proclamation No. 713
- December 5, 2024 – Special (Non-working) Day in the City of Palayan, Province of Nueva Ecija under Proclamation No. 714
- November 22, 2024 – a Special (Non-working) Day in the Municipality of Itogon, Province of Benguet under Proclamation No. 715
- November 22, 2024 – Special (Non-working) Day in the Municipality of Tublay, Province of Benguet under Proclamation No. 716
- November 23, 2024 – Special (Non-working) Day in the Province of Benguet under Proclamation No. 717
- November 25, 2024 – Special (Non-working) Day in the Municipality of Marasugan, Province of Davao de Oro under Proclamation No. 718
- November 26, 2024 – Special (Non-working) Day in the City of Dasmariñas, Province of Cavite under Proclamation No. 719
- November 28, 2024 – Special (Non-working) Day in the Province of Sarangani under Proclamation No. 720
- November 28, 2024 – Special (Non-working) Day in the Municipality of Piñan, Province of Zamboanga del Norte under Proclamation No. 721
- November 8, 2024 – Special (Non-working) Day in the Municipality of Tanay, Province of Rizal under Proclamation No. 725
- November 15, 2024 – Special (Non-working) Day in the City of Borongan, Province of Eastern Samar under Proclamation No. 726
The President also declared the second week of October of every year as “National Myopia Consciousness Week” under Proclamation No. 722.
Marcos also declared the 19th day of October of every year as “Transport Cooperative Day” under Proclamation No. 723.
The month of December of every year has been declared as the “Philippine Architecture Festival – National Architecture Month” under Proclamation No. 724.
