One dead, one missing from Typhoon Marce — NDRRMC

THE National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) said on Sunday that Typhoon Marce left one person dead.

One person was also reported missing in Ilocos Region. Marce affected 261,787 people or 76,622 families in Ilocos Region, Cagayan Valley, and Cordillera Administrative Region.

Of this number, 26,803 were displaced.

Damage to infrastructure was pegged at P25,398,600 in Cagayan Valley.

A total of P16.1 million worth of assistance has been provided to affected residents, the NDRRMC said.
