MANILA, Philippines — The DNS point-to-point (P2) bus transport group announced on Thursday night that it would suspend its operations on Friday.

In an advisory, the bus company offered no concrete reason but only said it needed to take a break because it became too difficult to continue traversing the streets.

“Our P2P route has always been more than just a business to us – it was a service of heart,” the service advisory read.

“But as much as we want to continue, it has become too hard for us to keep this route going, and with a heavy heart, we have to take a break for now,” it said.

Launched in 2017, the P2P route ran from Katipunan in Quezon City to Glorietta in Makati City.
