MANILA, Philippines — The spokesman of the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC) was relieved from his post amid an investigation into alleged “mistreatment” of a worker of a Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator (POGO), Malacañang confirmed Tuesday.
Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin said Winston Casio was ordered to explain his alleged involvement in the incident in Bagac, Bataan during a raid on Oct. 31.
“Under administrative investigation. Relieved as PAOCC spokesperson and ordered to explain actuations in writing,” Bersamin said in a text message.
