Known for her playful design approach, designer Anya Hindmarch was excited to work with Uniqlo once more for the Winter 2024 collection, “An Eye for Curiosity.” Hindmarch said she was excited to combine her craftsmanship with Uniqlo’s signature functionality, making their partnership the ideal combination of style and functionality.
“I’ve loved collaborating with Uniqlo again,” Hindmarch said. “This season, we’ve deconstructed and rebuilt their iconic knits and outerwear, adding fun details like darning stitches, knitted patches, and unexpected touches.”
Hindmarch emphasized how she appreciates Uniqlo’s flexibility and willingness to experiment with different textures and elements to create pieces that are both innovative and comfortable.
The new collection introduces high-performance outerwear with Pufftech padding, designed to offer warmth and lightness, while small pockets on the sleeves add both functionality and style. For the first time, Uniqlo brings merino wool sweaters for kids into the collection, combining comfort with ease of care, while playful details like thumbholes and embroidered eyes motifs give the designs a joyful twist.
In addition to outerwear, the collection features a range of knitwear, including handmade-style cashmere sweaters, merino wool pieces with embroidered stitching, and a variety of accessories like cashmere knit beanies, arm warmers, mittens, scarves, and socks made with Heattech material, ideal for the colder months ahead.
