An employee of the raided business process outsourcing (BPO) firm in Bataan has filed a case against relieved Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC) spokesperson Winston Casio for slapping him.
According to a report in 24 Oras on Monday, the victim filed a case for “slander of deed” before the Bataan Provincial Prosecutor’s Office.
The victim’s lawyer said Casio slapped his client thrice after the government official accused him of disrespecting his staff.
“May isang tauhan siya na lumapit sa akin, sabi niya binabastos mo kami…dumating na nga itong si Mr. Casio, bigla na lang niya akong parang ia-attempt na suntukin,” said the BPO employee. “Sa loob ng clinic namin tinatanong na niya yun…. basta sinampal na niya ako.”
(One of his staffers approached me and said that I was being rude to him…then Mr. Casio came and he attempted to punch me […] Inside the clinic, he was asking me about it…and he suddenly slapped me.)
Meanwhile, Central One, the raided BPO company, maintained that they are not a Philippine offshore gaming operator or POGO.
It also denied Casio’s allegations that they are involved in labor trafficking, online scam, and online gambling.
The BPO will file a motion before the court.
