‘UnSurrendered 4: Gallantry in Mindanao’ premieres in Canada

The Philippine Historama Society, in collaboration with the INarte Society, will host the world premiere of UnSurrendered 4: Gallantry in Mindanao on Saturday, Nov. 16 (Sunday, Nov. 17 in Manila), at 1 p.m. The documentary, a collaboration between filmmakers Ben Cal and Lucky Guillermo, is presented by Spyron AV Manila.

The latest installment in the UnSurrendered series highlights the heroism and sacrifices of individuals in Mindanao during World War II. Previous films in the series, including Manila 1945, Corregidor: The Road Back, and the acclaimed UnSurrendered 2: The Hunters ROTC, have explored themes of patriotism and resilience during the war.

The parade of Canadians during Remembrance Day

The premiere, held during Canada’s Remembrance Week, will feature a screening followed by a book signing and press conference with the producers.

The event aims to honor the bravery of wartime heroes while sharing the values of service and sacrifice with a broader audience.
