Three Boy Scouts were killed after they were electrocuted at a campsite in Zamboanga City.
According to a report on “24 Oras,” 14 were injured in the incident.
The campsite’s captain said the victims were moving a tent to the camp when it hit a cable wire.
The scouts were part of a jamboree attended by at least 2,000 others.
The Zamboanga City local government has created a critical incident management task group to investigate.
The activity had already been cancelled, and the participants were sent home. —Jiselle Anne C. Casucian/NB, GMA Integrated News
