For almost half a century, the Consular Corps of the Philippines celebrates an annual ball that brings together members of the diplomatic community, government officials, business leaders and prominent figures, fostering friendship and cooperation among consuls, strengthening the connection between the diplomatic community and the Filipinos.

It has become a platform to support a range of charitable, educational, environmental, and emergency relief projects that impact the lives of many.

This year’s recent 2024 Ball at the Makati Shangri-La highlights the power of collaboration as it continues its commitment to support diverse initiatives, with a particular focus on projects that promote education, environmental sustainability, and emergency relief operations.

As we congratulate Consul Agnes Huibonhua, chair and secretary of the Consular Corps of the Philippines, she shares, “The 49th Consular Ball is more than a celebration of diplomacy and camaraderie —it’s a testament to what we can achieve together when united by a shared purpose. Yearly, this event allows us to extend the reach of the Consular Corps’ charitable initiatives, making a tangible difference in the lives of many with the generosity, collaboration, and unwavering dedication of our sponsors, committee members, and supporters.
