De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde’s Allen Liwag is the Most Valuable Player of the NCAA Season 100 men’s basketball tournament.

Liwag, who returned to the league after serving residency in Season 99, had a player average value of 52.38 to top the stats race.

At the end of the elimination round, Liwag had 14.61 points, 11.28 rebounds, 2.33 assists, and 1.22 blocks per game.

Joining Liwag in the Mythical Five are Mapua University’s Clint Escamis (41.44), Lyceum of the Philippines University’s John Barba (40.83), Blazer Tony Ynot (39.64), and San Sebastian College-Recoletos’ TJ Felebrico (39.5).

Mapua’s Chris Hubilla, meanwhile, emerged as the Freshman and Rookie of the Year after finishing ninth in the stats race with 37.11 PAV.

Arellano University’s JL Capulong, on the other hand, was named as Most Improved Player after jumping to the 15th spot from being 33rd last season.

The Defensive Team, meanwhile, is composed of Liwag, Felebrico, Capulong, Colegio de San Juan de Letran’s Kevin Santos, and Emilio Aguinaldo College’s Wilmar Oftana.

Liwag was named as Defensive Player of the Year, making him the first MVP DPOY since Prince Eze in Season 94.

San Sebastian College-Recoletos, meanwhile, was given the Sportsmanship Award.
