A documentary series on global pop star Jungkook of BTS is now streaming on Disney+.
Titled JUNG KOOK: I AM STILL THE ORIGINAL, the three-part series that was filmed in over eight months, chronicles Jungkook’s transition from being a member of BTS to a thriving solo artist.
It provides a closer look at his artistic journey as he travels to New York, London and Seoul while recording and promoting his debut solo album, GOLDEN.
Highlights include the singer-songwriter’s collaborations with the world’s biggest producers, live performances of tracks such as Still With You, Closer To You (featuring Major Lazer) and Shot Glass of Tears at the Jungkook GOLDEN Live On Stage show.
The extended version features 55 minutes of additional content, including interviews with dancers and exclusive behind-the-scenes footage from his promotional tours.
The docuseries is part of a growing collection of BTS-focused content on Disney+, alongside BTS Monuments: Beyond The Star, the eight-part docuseries recapping the group’s first 10 years together, BTS: PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – LA, an exclusive cinematic 4K concert film featuring the band’s live performance at Los Angeles’ Sofi Stadium in November 2021.
The collection also includes the docuseries of Jungkook’s fellow BTS member Suga and j-hope and travel reality show IN THE SOOP: Friendcation, which stars V of BTS and other fellow South Korean musicians and actors.
