MANILA, Philippines — A Pasay Regional Trial Court has ordered the immediate release of actress and businesswoman Nerin Naig from prison.
This was confirmed by JSupt. Jayrex Bustinera, spokesman of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), who said that they have received the release order. It will be recalled that Naig was arrested last week over charges of estafa and alleged violation of the Securities Regulation Code.
