MANILA, Philippines — Dominic Roque has reportedly confirmed that he is dating Sue Ramirez.
The actor was among the celebrities who attended the premiere night last Friday of “The Kingdom,” one of the entries at this year’s 50th edition of the Metro Manila Film Festival. Sue is part of its all-star cast, led by Vic Sotto and Piolo Pascual.
Reporters spotted him on the red carpet and was asked about the real score between him and the actress.
He was initially asked for a reaction to the rising popularity of “DominSue,” the coined term for his and Sue’s pairing that social media users came up with after their viral kissing video.
He initially said he was happy and did not specifically give away the status between him and Sue, until a reporter followed it up with the question if they are already in a relationship.
“Wala, wala… We’re dating, we’re dating,” Dominic said as reported by Pep.ph.
“Happy naman kami together. We’re going out and, ayun, kinikilala namin ang isa’t isa,” he added.
The actress also commented about her and Dominic following the press conference of the movie last week.
“Basta I’m happy!” Sue said.
“We’re enjoying each other’s company. That’s all I can say for now,” she added.
Sue was in Siargao last month, and rumors of them dating went viral after a video of them kissing went online.
Sue was in a relationship with politician Javi Benitez, while Dominic was once engaged to actress Bea Alonzo.
