THE San Juan City government said the Greenhills-West Crame Connector Road would be open to ease vehicular traffic in the area during the holidays.
The connector road would serve as an alternative route going to and from Greenhills, San Juan, a popular shopping destination.
“This would largely decongest traffic in the area this holiday season,” said Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Chairman Don Artes, noting MMDA enforcers have been deployed around San Juan malls and shopping centers.
San Juan has opened an e-trike terminal offering free rides until Dec. 31.
The EDSA carousel busway leading to the area was expected to operate on a 24-hour basis.
