MANILA, Philippines — Vilma Santos, Aga Muhlach, Dennis Trillo and Vice Ganda led the star-studded Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) Parade of Stars in the capital Manila on Saturday, December 21.

Four days before the MMFF will start screening all the 10 entries to its 50th year anniversary on Christmas Day, December 25, the stars of the said films flocked to Manila for its annual float parade. The parade started at the Kartilya ng Katipunan and concluded at the Post Office.

Joining Vilma and Aga are their “Uninvited” co-stars Tirso Cruz III, Nadine Lustre, Elijah Canlas and RK Bagatsing.

It’s all green and refreshing for the cast of GMA Pictures’ “Green Bones,” led by Dennis Trillo. His co-stars Ruru Madrid, Royce Cabrera, Sofia Pablo and Sienna Stevens joined him in the float.

Romance entries, “My Future You” and “Hold Me Close,” had their stars Francine Diaz, Julia Barretto and Carlo Aquino.

Vice Ganda, Eugene Domingo and Gladys Reyes were aboard the Star Cinema entry “And the Breadwinners is…,” while Aicelle Santos led the cast of the movie musical adaptation of Nora Aunor’s classic film titled “Isang Himala.”

The other MMFF entries are Judy Ann Santos’ horror thriller “Espantaho,” Arjo Atayde and Julia Montes’ action-packed entry “Topakk,” Enrique Gil’s horror movie “Strange Frequencies: Taiwan Killer Hospital,” and Vic Sotto and Piolo Pascual’s first entry together, “The Kingdom.”
