MANILA, Philippines — Higher prices of key food items and transport costs pushed inflation higher in November, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) reported on Thursday.
Consumer price growth rose to 2.5 percent last month, higher than the 2.3 percent recorded in October but markedly lower than November 2023’s 4.1 percent. This still fell within the 2.0 to 4.0 percent target of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP).
