CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines — A tracker team has been formed to hunt down six dismissed policemen tagged in a robbery at the house of a retired teacher in Imus, Cavite.
The team is composed of six members of the police Criminal Investigation and Detection Group led by Lt. Col. Mark Jason Gatdula, according to Col. Geovanny Sibalo, chief of CIDG-Calabarzon.
The team was formed after the six policemen ignored a call by the National Police Commission (Napolcom) to submit themselves to any law enforcement unit.
Napolcom-Calabarzon chief Owen de Luna said the six should respect the court’s order so they could exercise their constitutional right to due process.
De Luna identified the six as dismissed staff sergeants Jesus Alday, Julius Barbon and Emil Buna; corporals Jenerald Cadiang and Lew Amando Antonio, and patrolmen Reymel Czar Reyes and Rene Mendoza of the Imus police.
