PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. urged Filipinos to have an inward-looking and progressive mind as they welcome the New Year.
“I extend my most heartfelt greetings to Filipinos across the country and the world as we celebrate the New Year. Brimming with well-wishes and resolutions, this occasion is widely heralded as an opportunity to learn from the lessons of the past and apply the wisdom gained to better oneself,” Marcos said in a message released on New Year’s Eve.
“It is our desire for our citizens to embrace this outlook and adopt an introspective and growth-focused mindset that balances the realities of yesterday and the promises of tomorrow,” he added.
