MANILA, Philippines — There is no talk about reenacting the 2024 national budget although the government is pressed for time as President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and his economic managers are reviewing the 2025 General Appropriations Bill (GAB), Malacanang said on Monday.
In a text message to reporters, acting Presidential Communications Office (PCO) Secretary Cesar Chavez said Marcos had only received the printed copy of the spending measure late last Friday, December 20, the day the chief executive was originally supposed to enact the spending bill.
