Several hours before the end of 2024, a number of Filipinos took last minute trips to the provinces to spend New Year’s Eve with their families or loved ones.
According to Dano Tingcungco’s report on 24 Oras, when compared to the previous days, the number of people at the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) has lessened considerably.
A few travelers originally were supposed to leave after Christmas but were unable to find trips since the buses were already full while others only managed to find the time after a brief break from work.
The situation at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 is also more relaxed with fewer passengers in the arrival areas.
At NAIA Terminal 3, the number of departing passengers has gradually increased, many of those leaving were accompanied by family members as they left for work overseas after their holiday vacation.
