MANILA, Philippines — It is almost Christmas, and the family is thick into preparations for the most auspicious day.

That includes drawing up a menu for Noche Buena, but, come to think of it, it probably isn’t necessary because the family ends up serving the same celebration dishes year after year. Lechon, Ham, Queso de Bola, Chicken Galantina, and Spaghetti are the usual favorites.

But must your pasta dish always be the Filipino-style sweet, tomato sauce-based spaghetti with hotdog? While it is unique to us Filipinos and satisfies our taste and cravings, it might be time to try other pasta preparations as well.

There are now so many different ready-to-cook pasta sauces available in supermarkets, from simple to gourmet level variants that guarantee hassle-free food preparation and delicious pasta dishes.

For one, Filippo Berio has four versatile Italian pasta sauces to choose from: Arrabbiata, Basilico, Truffle Pesto, and Classic Pesto.

Should you go for the Filippo Berio Truffle Pesto Sauce, one dish you can try whipping up is Tagliolini with Truffle Pesto Sauce. The sauce itself combines the rich, earthy flavor of summer truffles with other high-quality ingredients and is perfect for pasta or grilled sandwiches.

This Tagliolini with Truffle Pesto Sauce recipe is a simple yet luxurious pasta dish from Piemonte. It brings together the creamy richness of truffle pesto with delicate tagliolini pasta for a meal that feels both hearty and indulgent.
