(UPDATE) SEN. Juan Miguel Zubiri said the Reciprocal Access Agreement (RAA) between Manila and Tokyo, once ratified by the Senate, would strengthen the Armed Forces of the Philippines’ modernization through joint military exercises with Japan.
The senator on Tuesday said through RAA, the Philippines “could look forward to heightened interoperability for military vessels and equipment it had acquired from Japan.”
