It marked a 23-percent increase compared to the same period in 2023.
Among the cases, three died. Two suffered fatal head injuries for not wearing helmets while riding motorcycles.
Of the total, 306 were linked to failure to use safety accessories such as helmets and seatbelts.
Motorcycle accidents accounted for 239 cases, with 63 involving drivers who consumed alcohol before operating their vehicles.
The DOH emphasized the importance of adhering to road safety practices, particularly during the busy holiday season, when road traffic injuries typically rise due to increased travel and celebrations.
