SIX people nominated by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. as ambassadors are up for confirmation by the Commission on Appointments (CA).
Surigao del Sur 2nd District Rep. Johnny Pimentel, an assistant minority leader of the CA, said the nominees were Eduardo de Vega, as ambassador to France and Monaco; Aileen Mendiola-Rau, as ambassador to Israel; Christopher Montero, as ambassador to Indonesia; Domingo Nolasco, as ambassador to Estonia and Finland; Patrick Chuasoto, as ambassador to Sweden; and Latvia and Elizabeth Te, as ambassador to Laos.
The commission is composed of 12 senators and 12 members of the House of Representatives, with the Senate president as ex officio chairman.
