The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Monday said the organization still has not received any information on the supposed documented threat against Vice President Sara Duterte.
“May sinasabi po ang ating Bise Presidente na meron siyang documented threats…Hindi po tayo nabigyan ng kopya ng sinasabi niyang documented threats na ito,” PNP spokesperson Police Brigadier General Jean Fajardo said at a press briefing.

Fajardo said the PNP is presuming that the Presidential Security Command (PSC) has been provided with a copy of the said documented threat. According to her, the PNP is ready to provide assistance.
“We are presuming and assuming na yung PSC was furnished nitong sinasabing documented threat. Ang PSC po ang may direct na authority po pagdating po sa security ng ating Pangulo at Pangalawang Pangulo,” she said.

“If the PSC requests our assistance for purposes of that documented threat, we will respond accordingly. But for now wala po tayong hawak,” she added.

Duterte earlier said that she ordered to have President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. assassinated should an alleged plot against her succeed.
But she later on clarified that her remark was not a threat but she only highlighted the alleged threat to her security. — RSJ, GMA Integrated News
