PAGASA declared the onset of northeast monsoon on Nov. 19, adding that the public could expect cooler temperatures and dry air across the country, with periodic surges expected in the coming months.

The agency said the northeasterly wind flow is expected to be more dominant in most of the country, bringing cold and dry air until February 2025.

According to PAGASA, longer nights are more evident this month and the public could expect an early sunset and delayed sunrise.
