BROTHERS Erwin and Ben Tulfo are among the top three choices for senator in a commissioned survey by a radio station.
In MBC-DZRH’s pre-election survey conducted in 300 barangay (villages) nationwide with 7,510 respondents, ACT-CIS Rep. Erwin Tulfo came out on top with a 64.7 percent preference, and brother Ben was in third place with 50.3 percent.
Former senator Vicente Sotto III placed second with 54.9 percent.
Former senator Panfilo Lacson was in fourth place (50.1 percent), and another former senator, Manny Pacquiao, in fifth place (46.5 percent).
Incumbent Senators Lito Lapid (46.2 percent), Pia Cayetano (44.7 percent), and Bong Revilla (42.4 percent) ranked sixth to eighth, respectively. Rep. Camille Villar was ninth place with 40.7 percent, and TV host Willie Revillame at 10th place with 39.4 percent.
Rounding up the survey’s “Magic 12” are Makati Mayor Abigail Binay (38 percent) in 11th place and incumbent Sen. Ronald Dela Rosa in 12th place (37.4 percent).
Just outside the “Magic 12” are Senators Imee Marcos (13th place, 34.6 percent), Bong Go (14th place, 34.5 percent) and former interior secretary Benhur Abalos (15th place, 31.8 percent).
