VALENZUELA City said it has procured 41 electric vehicles amounting to P75.7 million to be used as police cars in accordance with its green program.
“As we headstart a shift from conventional peace and order vehicles to ecologically safe electric vehicles, the city government entered into a groundbreaking partnership with ACMobility and BYD Philippines to launch the Go Green Valenzuela with a ceremonial signing event held on Dec. 10, 2024,” Mayor Weslie Gatchalian said on Thursday.
“This move makes Valenzuela the first local government unit in the country to implement such an extensive fleet of electric vehicle police cars,” he added.
