COTABATO CITY, Philippines — Ten people were injured after a truck collided with a tricycle in Tupi town, South Cotabato on Sunday.
In a report, Tupi town police said driver Almasri Guiapal lost control of the truck after its front tire exploded. The truck hit the tricycle, forcing it into a flood control ditch in Barangay Palian.
Guiapal and truck helpers Haron Japal, Johari Moncao, Fahad Mohammad, Mujahirin Bagundang and Saud Macalutang as well as tricycle driver Raul Dolendo and his passengers Leah Osorio, Gemma Osorio and a nine-year-old boy were injured.
Police said Guiapal was going to deliver fish from General Santos City to retailers in Maguindanao del Norte and Maguindanao del Sur provinces.
