The closely-knit JL & Co. group gathered at the elegant Shang Palace restaurant in Makati Shangri-La, Manila in Makati City, for a memorable birthday bash for lovely celebrants Arlene Chan, Maru Go, Beth Lee, and Ofelia Wadle.
Highlight of the affair was the exceptional menu, thoughtfully curated by Helen Lee, in collaboration with the highly-skilled Shang Palace Chinese executive chef Chan Po Sang, resulting in a feast fit for royalty. Laughter and camaraderie filled the air as everyone enjoyed a truly fabulous soirée.

Well-loved Nene Pe-Lim gathered her family and closest friends from Inner Wheel Chinatown, Catholic Women’s Club, and Zonta Area 1 for a dazzling birthday soiree at the Manila Ballroom of The Westin Manila in Mandaluyong City.
The evening began with a thanksgiving Mass presided by Fr. Mario Sobrejuanite, SSP, followed by an enchanting dinner party reminiscent of the iconic wedding scene from the film Crazy Rich Asians.
Guests enjoyed exquisite dishes of foie gras, fish, steak, pasta, and a whimsical dessert, all masterfully crafted by Westin’s culinary artists.
With lively song-and-dance numbers throughout, it was truly a celebration befitting an admirable and regal woman.
