Kapuso stars Barbie Forteza and Jak Roberto have officially ended their seven-year relationship.
Barbie took to Instagram yesterday to announce the breakup, sharing a heartfelt message of gratitude to her ex.
“Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened,” Barbie started her post with a quote from Dr. Seuss.
The “Pulang Araw” actress then penned a touching farewell message for Jak, expressing her appreciation for their time together.

“Having you in my life was the happiest I had ever been. Seven wonderful years. A lot of laughs, a lot of ramen and so much love.
“Your love was exceptional. But sometimes, good things fall apart so better things can come together.
“Beautiful goodbye, @jakroberto.
“Thank you for loving me the way you did. I am excited for what’s to come for the both of us. You take care of yourself. May you find the love you deserve.
“I hope for everyone’s understanding and I wish you can help us put this matter to rest.”
Barbie’s message was met with an outpouring of support from fans and fellow celebrities, many of whom admired the couple’s relationship even as the actress became part of a popular “love team” with David Licauco .
