A comeback fight in the USA is being targeted for former world title challenger Jonas Sultan later this year.
Sultan, 19-7 with 11 knockouts as a professional boxer, suffered a first-round knockout loss at the hands of Riku Masuda in his only fight in 2024. He is 2-2 in his last four bouts.
“Jonas Sultan is young and has plenty of fight in him,” Sultan’s manager and Zamboanga Valientes owner Junnie Navarro told GMA News Online.
“With the right training and guidance, I believe he will be back in the world title picture in the near future.”
The opponent, date, and venue are yet to be determined for Sultan’s comeback fight.
