THE Philippine Army (PA) said communist insurgents were no longer capable of disrupting or influencing the midterm elections this year.
“With the current state of the New Peoples Army, the communist insurgents no longer have the capability to influence this year’s election,” Army spokesman Col. Louie Dema-ala said in a message to reporters Tuesday night.
