Some areas in Palawan were flooded due to heavy rains, according to a report on GMA Integrated News’ Unang Balita on Tuesday.
Nearly 100 affected families were evacuated due to the floods.
In Brooke’s Point, four barangays — Ipilan, Mambalot, Calasaguen, and Maasin — were flooded.
In Sofronio Española, seven barangays were flooded.
The rains in the province started on Monday morning, the Palawan Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) said.
Authorities are monitoring if the floods will continue to rise in the affected areas.
