The traditional “Pagpupugay” for the image of Jesus Nazareno continues to draw devotees at Quirino Grandstand in Manila.
Filipino devotees have begun going to the venue to touch the feet of the image using their towels or handkerchiefs.
The “Pagpupugay” will be held until Thursday, January 9, after which the traditional procession or Traslacion will be conducted from Quirino Grandstand to the Minor Basilica and National Shrine of Jesus Nazareno or Quiapo Church in Manila.
